Abstract

Students' achievement ability in completing their lectures can be measured from the achievement index value obtained from the average value in one semester. Therefore, this study has built an information system application of the achievement index value using the waterfall method. The collection of data used is the result of assignment values, mid semester exam, and final semester exam. In order to fulfill this, a Web-based student achievement index value information system was built. Software to build this application system uses the CodeIgniter framework with the PHP programming language, with MySQL as a database to store student value data and Data Flow Diagram and Entity Relationship Diagram as database designs. With the information system application the achievement index value students can find out the achievement index value obtained and are expected to help facilitate the input of student value data so that the lecturer will be more effective and efficient at work. The student achievement index value information system application can display the value of the courses taken and the achievement index in one semester
